Mr. Donald Brennan worked at Blommfield from 1946 to 1972.
He was the Athletic Director and Physical Education Teacher. He coached the Boys Basketball team from 1946 to 1960. Including taking the team to
Two championship in 1950 and 1951. Coach Brennan started the Track Program in the late 1950's.
He also was instrumental in creating the Cross Country and Wrestling programs here at Bloomfield.

Before becoming a teacher at Bloomfield Mr. Brennan was a 2 sport athlete for Rushville HS. Were he played Basketball and Baseball untill
his 1929 graduation. He continued his education at Ithaca College and Columbia Teachers College NYC, were he got his degree in Physical Education.
Before coming to Bloomfield Mr Brennan taught at Rushville HS. Hammondsport and Canisteo, were he won championships in basketball
for all 3 schools. Once Mr Brennan arrived and stayed in Bloomfield he knew he found a community for him. All the students thought
Mr. Brennan was special educator as you can see they dedicated the 1955 yearbook to him.
